After School Opportunities

Registered students report to LDE following their school day to receive additional academic support. By design, the style of support solely depends on a student’s individual needs and their preferred learning style. Our regular services include helping students gain a better understanding about specific lessons, topics, or vocabulary words, as well as, one-on-one mentoring.

We can’t stress enough the importance of reading comprehension so that’s why we enforce regular reading habits for our Littles. The Accelerated Reader program is one of our favorite resources to stand behind. With it, we’re able to keep up with reading progressions in real-time.

While academics is huge part of what we do, we understand that other factors play a major part in our ability to be effective. The Littles have trouble learning when they’re minds are clouded with insecurities, social anxieties, and healing from traumatic experiences. We provide a safe space to develop amongst their peers.

At LDE we  “Learn to Play”. A Little’s only requirement is showing up and giving their best effort. The effort grants them unlimited access to the latest video games, snacks, STEM activities, and everything else that we provide!
